Moy Valley Resources is a Community Development Company and Registered
Charity based in the north Mayo and west Sligo region and has been
operating for over **Apply on the website** years. The Company
delivers a number of core development programmes along with several
enterprise projects and is active in many collaborative efforts
throughout the region.

Moy Valley Resources now has a vacancy for a part-time Head of Finance
and Property Contracts Manager. The role is a supporting role to the
CEO and reports directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors. The
successful candidate will be an experienced and competent professional
who will lead and oversee a small team and who will play a significant
role in the financial planning, monitoring and reporting areas while
ensuring compliance, accuracy, transparency and timeliness in their
duties. The successful candidate will also undertake to manage the
contracting element of leasing of property to tenants.

To fill this vacancy, we are now seeking applications from suitably
qualified candidates who fulfil the criteria below;

REQUIREMENTS

* A qualification to Accounting Technician level or other similar
accounting/financial training
* A minimum of five years financial/accounting experience
* Experience in the leasing and/or letting of property and dealing
with contracts, leases etc
* A good understanding of the financial, legal and other statutory
reporting requirements under Company Law and the Charities Regulator.
* Experienced with SAGE accounting package.

* Must be able to strategically lead the finance department and
function of the organisation
* Excellent people management skills and interpersonal skills to
build strong working relationships with colleagues
* Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management
skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good problem solving and analytical skills
* An ability to manage a diverse and varied work programme
* A high level of attention to detail
* Must be highly skilled in IT and particularly in Microsoft Excel
* Be self-directed and highly motivated

This role may be office based or a hybrid between the office and
working from home. However, attendance in the office will be required
for some hours each week. Applicants must be able to work effectively
from home in the case of further covid restrictions being imposed.
